Vanishing Point

With the vanishing point effect in CS3 you can create 3 dimensional illusions. I found an image of a building and applied the effect within CS3. The add plane tool allows you to separate the various sides and angles of the object. (Great for use with flat surfaces) You then save it out as a vpe file and import into After Effects. The background and surface plane are set as 3-D objects as well within After Effects. This way you can angle them correctly to match up with the scene. Add a camera and you will see the resolution. This tool is definitely fast and extremely effective!
